I think it's so fun to find a series that will hook boy readers! (Girl readers will like them too, I'm just always on the lookout for series I think my boys will enjoy now or down the road)

The Percy Jackson & the Olympians Series

The Pendragon Series: I've only read the first two so far, but I enjoyed them. They are probably better for teenagers because at least in the first one, the boy kisses a girl. EWW!
Deltora Quest Series: I'm suggesting these because my oldest really liked them, but I must admit, I only read the first one.

I love children's books! They are my fetish! I'd rather buy a new book than new shoes or a fancy purse! On my nightstand you'll usually find a pile of books that I checked out of the Juvenile literature section. In my library box, you'll find lots of picture books to read aloud and an assortment of chapter books for my school age children to curl up and read. This blog is a cozy little place to talk about the books I love and the books my children enjoy! I and some fellow book lover friends would love to hear about any books you have on your nightstand and what the children in your life enjoy!
