I am having the 11 year old girls in my ward come over for an activity to talk about reading! I put together a book list to give each of them and thought I would share! I have read most of them, but I haven't read them all. However, they all came highly recommended by people I know and love! Some are for younger readers, others are for more mature readers, so just make sure they are age appropriate for your readers!

I love children's books! They are my fetish! I'd rather buy a new book than new shoes or a fancy purse! On my nightstand you'll usually find a pile of books that I checked out of the Juvenile literature section. In my library box, you'll find lots of picture books to read aloud and an assortment of chapter books for my school age children to curl up and read. This blog is a cozy little place to talk about the books I love and the books my children enjoy! I and some fellow book lover friends would love to hear about any books you have on your nightstand and what the children in your life enjoy!

I have read a few of those and loved every one that I have read. What a great list.
I didn't realize you were a children's book worm. Ben laughs at me because I can't go to to elementary school when the book fair is there are when the teachers send home the scalastic book order forms. I just get too excited. Loved you list. I haven't read all of them yet, but I know where I want to start.
Fantastic list! I read through the list while trying to think of some to add and found myself nodding. Loved that one! Can't forget that one! Classic! Need to read that one again!
